Meeting Programs

A technical program is presented by one of our members or a guest presenter at our monthly meeting (except in January, when we hold elections, and June, when we discuss our club's upcoming Field Day activities). The topics range from ham radio to personal computing to anything that would be of interest to our members. The presentations may be formal or informal and always generate lively discussions.

Here are the programs and presenters scheduled for upcoming meetings:

July - Chuck Curran, W9KR, Refurb of the Classic 1967 Collins KWM-2.

August - Gary Sutcliffe, W9XT, Fundamentals of HF Propagation and Characteristics of the HF Bands: What to expect as we approach Solar Minimum.

September - Bernard Barr, K9JAT, Grounding & Resonances: 1. Station Ground Do's and Don'ts, 2. Antenna(s) and Amplified Resonant Loops, 3. Lightning Oddities and Conductors.

Newsletters

We publish a robust monthly newsletter, edited by Tom (W9IPR), which details the club's activities (past and planned); provides technical information; and usually introduces some new and longstanding ORC members. Please visit our newsletter archive or click below to download the latest!
