Ozaukee Radio Club $1,000 Scholarship

The ORC Scholarship is available to Wisconsin residents holding any class of Amateur Radio license and pursuing at least a bachelor degree in any course of study. The ORC Scholarship is administered by the Foundation for Amateur Radio (FAR). Additional information and an application form for 2005 may be requested by letter or QSL card, postmarked prior to April 30 2005, from:

2004

Amber Erickson, KC9FVW from Chippewa Falls was chosen as recipient of the 2004 Ozaukee Radio Club annual $1,000 scholarship. Amber will be attending UW-Eau Claire where she is studying Education and Social Studies. She holds a Technician class license and is active with the Chippewa Valley VHF contesters. Congratulations Amber!

2003

The winner of the $1,000 ORC Scholarship for 2003 is Jayson J. Kempinger, KB9VGF of Milwaukee. Jayson will be chemistry major at the University of Wisconsin Madison and hopes to become a research chemist. He is a member of WARAC and holds a Technician Plus license.
